Known as a beauty soap, the delicate fragrance of this handmade soap comes from sandalwood oil. It is primarily made with palm and coconut oil by traditional Indian soapmakers. A blend of compound extracted from sandalwood logs creates the pure sandalwood oil. The Palam Rural Centre, who employ these soapmakers use palm oil grown on local plantations. This palm oil provides does not contribute to deforestation.
